But they were usually fun & easy to score.
that was the main goal as a young guy with raging hormones.

Now that ive been domesticated for near 35 years? It all just seems like it was so much:
Work, stress, strain, effort & drama.

Lmao who knew it would turn out that way? Oh wait! my Grandpa & PaPaw both tried to tell me.

Back to the grind today, but a short two day work week. I took Saturday off to attend a wedding.

Ahh, marriage. I never knew what true happiness was until I got married...and then it was too late.

I compressed it back into shape and will weld a top plate to the strut tower to make it rigid. Had to get a new top hat and heim spacers from Icon

We might get one more trip in, but it is already getting toasty out there.

 

72* and sunny sounds good or is it going to take awhile to get the truck ready

 

Look closer...high of 105*.

 

Damn, this early in the year

 

That's warm but not really all that hot as it is very low humidity . Currently it's only 18 percent humidity

 

By July, Death Valley will routinely be in the 120*'s range...... that part of the Mojave gets a might toasty, as my dad used to say. He grew up near DV, as his dad was a water pump station man on the railroad from Salt lake City down to Los Angeles. Back in the 1920/30/40's.

 

It's not as bad as 90% humidity but you don't want to go hiking in it.
The hope is that a storm comes to the area, it probably won't rain but it drops the temp in DV to the 80s

 

3:56 my eyes pop open and I start worrying about the UPS batteries and my 2-year budget. Then we progressed to selling the cabin and where the PD records their call data. Oh, and I have to pay taxes, and my son just got here, and I need to pick 20-30 avocados for the baby shower.

Then I got up and peed . . .
