I showed this picture to my retired Mac buddy, he said the drawer slides and wheels have a lifetime warranty. I said good to know cause a couple of the drawers are hard to open and close.

I sent an email to Mac last week, they sent me a form to fill out and I filled it out Monday. It ask some questions, serial #, etc. One of the questions was "are you the original owner". I checked NO and figured that was the end of that.

My wife just text me and said "what did you order from Mac? It's a heavy box".

I'm assuming it's a complete set of slides cause I ask for a whole set :anonymous:

This is a weird part, it's turned to 25mm (,984") back 8" then turned to 1" back another 8"

I would buy the tap and die set. Good quality ones are hard to find. Worth it especially if they come with a lifetime warranty.

Amazon purchases: Wife ordered and outside oversized Chaise lounge. Never showed up. Shipper said it was too large to ship, Amazon web site allowed it to be ordered. Went back and forth over a 6 week period of ordering and not receiving, refund, refund plus money for the trouble, etc. Ended up finally receiving the lounge chair and by the time everything was completed they had paid us twice the cost of the item in refunds. We received the chair and they paid us double for getting it.

We ordered a memory foam mattress. It arrived, opened it and it did not expand completely flat. Called and complained, they sent us another one. Same thing happened. No way to return them as they no longer fit in the shipping box and there was no way to compress them. We now have two mattresses that we cannot ship back and did not pay for. Ironically enough, after 6 months or so they actually did completely open up. But there was no way to know if they would within the return window so we had no choice but to complain about the condition at the time.

I'm still waiting on them to respond to an email on the hydro pump I ordered, then cancelled a couple hours later last year for the mower. It's still in the box, unopened in the shop. It was also around $700 I was never charged for.

Time for another email that says, "If I don't hear from you by such and such a date then I will assume you no longer want the part and it is mine to dispose of.

I won't rehash it all again but I ended up getting a second Traeger for free. Sold it to a coworker for half price.

The only thing I ever got for free was a piece of a coworkers mind - it wasn't a value even at that price. :D

I’ve got a bunch from engine days. They typically came as a set of whatever the step was .001-.020 etc.
NEVER saw handles. Guess it’s a builder’s interference micrometer. Have both of those too… internal/external and ball. You can’t live without magnet bases…

They bought two of @RustyGreen bearings with the same OD, but different IDs. This is the rusty fix!
