    @Siblue
wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone had the part#'s for the fog lights.

Just a random thought here but would quickly turning the fog lights on and off have any effect on which colors are emitted.

So here's a small bump for the thread, I was in the parts department at my dealer and asked for the part # for the fog lights in the TH. They gave 81220-YY030 left hand, and 81210-YY030 right hand. Now here's where things get interesting.

In another thread a TH owner said they had two options for foglights when looking at the app, part #'s were pt988-35240-br and pt988-35240-TR

So with that info we are left with a 50/50 chance guess and who knows what the BR and TR stand for, could order both but cannot test the switchback function without the proper wiring and remove the front.

    But there's more!

I searched on eBay and found the part #pt988-35240-br, which are the OEM rigid lights BUT they are showing part# 81220-YY080 and 81220-YY070

But I asked the seller if these were the switchback versions a they said yes. Again not something I can easily test without the switch or taking off the bumper.

So this leads me to where I stand, part # pt988-35240-TR MAYBE the switchback foglights, but cannot tell without ordering and testing. The easiest way to confirm would be if a TH owner took a photo of their foglights when their bumper is off and we could confirm.

Also have to find the wiring for this, for models that came with non Rigid fog lights from factory.

One would think that the -TR suffix on the part number means Trailhunter variant, but we already learned the hard way with the lightbar switch that Toyota is not consistent with their part numbering scheme (comments #9 and #11).

@caribe makaira do you have any information on the connector part number or a conversion harness pigtail for standard to Rigid foglamps? That would address the last sentence in @bnizzle comment #24.

Using autoparts.toyota site you cannot select a 24 or 25 Tacoma Trailhunter or pro.
However, you can select a 25 4R TH and part numbers ending in TL and TR will populate.

@Siblue if I get that switch, is it possible to wire a light bar I’m adding to the pigtail from Ali where it’ll be illuminated back light, switch light comes on when I press light bar, and not have fogs wired? Just thinking would it be good to add this with the idea of a future fog swap in mind while allowing me to use light bar in the interim

Yes it’s possible. I uploaded a video on Tundras forum with my bench testing. Using PAC TR-7 universal trigger module(converts a momentary input to latching output)and a relay.

Same concept but using a single OEM TRD switch not the dual TH switch…

Awesome just read that whole thread. Did anyone figure out where we can tap the illumination dimming for these tacomas?

Was there a thread on it? Been searching for as much info as I can before attempting to wire it all. Was there also a thread that shows which connector to use for the trd pro switch without fog switch?would it just be same pigtail used for tundra?

so I’m trying to fully understand how you wire the light bar. I see the drawing posted above where exactly is everyone getting these diagrams from? I have the light bar/ fog switch and I ordered this pigtail harness. Do I just follow the TRD light bar switch vid you posted to the tundra forum? This one looks a bit different than that switch?

Here is a write done by another Tundra member. Obviously the trail hunter switch adds a dual function using the top row of this harness.
Are you planning to wire up an OEM LED bar or aftermarket?
