A good used Toyota one is about $15k. Getting a lot of pallet deliveries?

Just need one for a one-time use

But it'd be too inconvenient and a waste of cash to try to get one to use in a small window of time

Nobody nearby has one you can bribe? What if you mount an engine hoist in a truck bed?

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed! It’s actually pushing me towards an air option. Looks like these are only going to do what I want with the mega batteries, which will end up costing a small fortune. And then it will likely be the only tool I run on them because everything else I own is dewalt. Dealing with the noise (at least until dewalt releases one) seems like a fair trade off.

Guess I’ll hang on to the gift card until Amber isn’t paying attention and I can sneak a plasma cutter in to the garage :D

The size of said item would far exceed the engine hoist's capabilities

@Kwikvette for real though, manual stackers are a thing. I learned about them from a youtube woodworker who does a bunch of live-edge slab stuff. He uses them to get the slabs up on to his work table. Could be handy for metal fab work too maybe?

I've also seen folks use scissor lift tables so they can work on large pieces at whatever height is most convenient.

    That looks really cool.

But I can't justify the cost to use it once and then store it (while I attempt to sell it).
