    Looks nice, I like it.
If you end up using the aluminum for the battery box, protect it from getting battery acid on it. The two don't play nicely together.

Testing. Testing. This quieted some noises that cropped up recently, can anyone recommend a more permanent solution?

Warranty replaced my headlights yesterday. Out with XB's in with XB Evo's! Also redid the plasti-dip on my mirror caps. They were looking a little rough, ha.

Clean between the leafs then get a lubricant in there. Might also be able to install leaf spring pads between them.

Why, isn't there a magnet on the tcase plug? Doesn't make sense to me.

Super strong, anyone ever try adding one?

You might be able to separate the leaves and put a shim in there to stop the steel from rubbing.

Lift the truck off the ground to unload the springs, spread the 2 leaves with a screwdriver or pry bar, then put something rubber between them. I used parts of an old bicycle tube.

That should shut up the springs for quite a while, mine have been quiet for over a year now.
You can kinda see it on mine near the leaf mount.

Looks like it's missing an isolator like the leaves beneath it. Should be able to add one back.

Also thought this, and have a few these in a box for when I do my fluids. IIRC it's the same plug for the transfer case and rear diff. Magnetic Drain Plug | Trail Toys

I'm sure there are a plethora of magnetic replacements available. I found magnetic ones for every orifice in my Subarus...

Yes, I found one that was dislocated, it lost the nub so it's wasted. I found 12 pcs on Amazon for $19.99, and I only need 2, hoping a trip to local auto parts will result in something less than $10.

You got me thinking. I normally have plenty of material around but few years back I downsized for a move and I wound up tossing some ~1/8" edpm that was up to the task. I searched a little bit now off to autoparts store...

Yeap, same plug. I dropped a small but mighty rare earth magnets inside in both and sealed it up. I'll be posting again on the next change and I'll let y'all know how that worked.

I cannot believe, there is only ONE qt of oil in that Tcase (1.1 per manual). Mine was nearly black so I'm going to change it up again in about 10k miles, and again same each 10k. I did notice, there was an atmospheric difference as I released the fill plug. I'm guessing since it was cold, it was therefore a suction.

And I am sure there are! I made one, I'm trying to cut down on buying something everytime I think I need something. hehe.

I noticed that I had been readjusting my passenger light a little more often that expected and after the last time, I contacted Morimoto and they asked for before and after adjustment photos. I sent them these and they warrantied them out immediately. Said the adjustment was clearly broken.

Drilled into my bumper to reinstall the air dam. Kinda like the look and trying to claw back some mpgs. Gunna swap to stock tires for summer and selling my canopy soon too.

I'm really digging them. Had buyers remorse when I got white drl's and not amber. Now I can switch between the two haha.

Drove it to work, it is my daily. There's a little park area near my office. Took some pictures of it.

No experience with that particular problem, but try some creeping lube like Boeshield T-9, I think that would quiet it, and slow the rust.

IMG_2028.jpg Finally have my stock OR rims blackened out (poor man's way, LOL) - premium class vinyl stickers (Flat 6 graphics) from ETSY.
Wasn't too difficult to install, wet method. Wheel should be in horizontal position on comfortable height. Time per wheel approx. 30 minutes
Material seems to be super sticky and strong. I like the look, now let's see how long it will last. :):canada:IMG_2028.jpg IMG_2028.jpg
