I'd like to do this in the next few years. Plan to finish all upgrades to my truck between now and next summer. After that we'll be traveling all over doing these trails and such. We went up to Hot Spring Off Road park back in 23. It's fairly near the Ozarks. Really awesome out there.

There is a another mountain range between the Ouachitas (Hot Springs) and the upper Ozarks named Mt Magazine. It is the highest elevation mountain in the state and loaded with beautiful scenery. I'm planning to go to the Louisiana Land Cruisers "Mardi Krawl" at Hawk's Pride Offroad Park in Tuscumbia, AL September 11-14.

Whaaaat!? That's awesome. What is Louisiana Land Cruisers? I live just north of New Orleans and there ain't no kinda 4x4 action around here unless you want to go mudding in the spillway. Wife n I are going to Kisatchie next month and doing a bunch of trails there, but other than that I can't find anyone or anything that isn't just a Jeep group around here.

This is a big deal. People travel from AR to attend this event.

Awe man that's awesome! That march meeting is just north of where I live. Is that open to anyone or just group members? This is what I've been looking for.

I haven't been to Hawk pride Park yet, just Hot Springs. Are there many trails that a stock 23TRDOR can do?

I would reach out to the https://www.lalandkrewesers.net/ TLCA club to get into the communication loop. TLCA clubs are for all Toyota and Lexus 4x4 trucks.

We have many get togethers in the Ozark and Ouachita mountains throughout the year. Since you are in Nashville, I would look into the Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride. The Southeast Toyota Land Cruiser Association (STLCA) is your club for all things Toyota 4-wheel drive in the Southeastern US.

Thanks for the info! I just realized the day of the March meetup is the same weekend we are going to Kisatchie, so I'll miss it. I am definitely interested in your group though!

Yes indeed. How long are you planning to visit?

    Here's a tip from a native.

The most scenic parts of the Ouachita and Ozark mountains are the easiest to reach by vehicle. That is actually by design dating back to the 1930s. I will post some pictures.
