Once again, I'm the odd one out.

Undercooked, low sauced, high cheesed, with or without pineapple, no olives or anchovies.

    Goat Mountain Bellingham WA
    Storia Cucina Bellingham WA
Rome Store Mount Baker Hwy WA
    Zekes Bellingham WA
    La Fiama Bellingham WA

if you are in the area start with Goat Mountain they make a great rectangular medium deep pie with a bomb crust

Here we are debating about pineapple on pizza, and Brazil's just out there summoning the anti-christ.

:spy: That's where I grew up. Granfanally's was new when I was graduating/leaving the area, been there a time or two when I was going home to visit family and friends, heard it was pretty good. I don't know if I got the pizza there, just beers and/or subs I think. They got rid of that putt putt place next door, so I can only assume that's looking like a horror movie back in those woods now.

Stachey's was good if I remember correctly, I remember being there, I can't remember if it was good or terrible  and right up the road, Blue House I remember they left the skins on their eggplant and it was not good because of that. There's a Tripoli right up the road there though going into Methuen!

Romano's is a pretty decent pie, conveyor belt but they were still pretty good.

Granfanallys is great. Owners are from Long Island.

Had Stachey's once, hated it. They advertise as brick oven, but they're not.

Also had Romano's once, sauce was too sweet.

And as for Tripoli/beach pizza as a whole......they can fight it out with Greek pizza to see who's worse.

I knew I'd forget a great one on my list.

Nick's in Newburyport. They do both round & Sicilian style, but they char the edges like a South Shore bar pie. Very good.

 I am laughing because - other than remembering or not if Stachey's was good - you're a mirror image to my tastes and thoughts on Salem. We ate Romano's because it was tradition, not because it was great. Sauce is sweet. Judgement clouding :p

Same with Tripoli, it's mediocre and beach pizza, but it's just "a thing". I don't mind it time to time, it's "a thing", it's not "I want an pizza...I go to Tripoli". .... Greek is worse. S HOP was greek style (shocker). That _HOP style greek pizza is apparently a new england thing I think, it's not widespread around the country. Same with steak tips, they're unknown outside of New England.
