So I noticed on the off-road alliance website that they only offer the 2”inch option for tundra. Is it OK to use these leaf springs on our trucks? Or would it be a bad idea? I could’ve swore that Deaver has 2 inch lift springs for the Tacoma.IMG_2427.png

Ok, I see the Expedition Series has them at 2”. Is Off-road Alliance a good place to order from? Or is there somewhere better you would recommend?

They wouldn't last in a box. They're large, heavy, and awkward to ship. FedEx had mine listed at 138lbs for the pair.

They will come shipped bare with the ends wrapped in tape/foam wrap. Hopefully a few cosmetic scuffs but nothing too serious. Mine made it from CA to SC unscathed. Driver wasn't too happy to deliver them though.

So if I am going to pull a large pop-up camper a few times a year, long distance, would I want stage 2 or would stage 1 be ok? Camper is about 1500 pounds.

Shoot him a PM or he'll probably comment here in a few hours. He can order whatever you want or make you a custom quote of mix and match shocks, springs, ubolt flip kits, bumpstomps, etc. etc. whatever you're trying to accomplish.

So by bare, you mean raw steel?

They are painted from Deaver. They'll just ship with the ends wrapped in foam, and a shipping sticker ziptied to the spring. Bare as in no box, pallet, etc.

Ok, that’s only 68 pounds each, why not ship them in two boxes? Hell, if I order an 80 pound dumbbell it comes in a box. That s is a deal breaker for me with this company. Sorry.

    6112/5160s with Icon stage 2 leaf’s.
You’re going to find that is how most, if not all, ship leaf springs.

I will keep researching. If that’s the case, then maybe. It just don’t make sense. For 1200 it should come well packaged.

That’s how mine came from Icon, albeit through hotshot. Important bits well padded, the rest bare. They work just fine and I don’t recall any blemishes. But I probably didn’t really look too hard.

    Yeah.
Accutune ships them the same way. They are leaf springs. They ride under your truck and get hit with a lot of crap. While I wouldn't put it past UPS/FedEx to figure out a way to damage them, they'd have to try pretty hard.

I’m gonna see if I can find some local first. Rather just go pick them up than get them shipped.

I don’t care if they get scratched, lol. Just don’t want a set of unboxed $1200 leaf springs sitting out in front of my house. They would most likely be delivered when I’m not home. Work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week.
