Wish i would've went this way with my Taco. And I had planned to do it with my Tundra build before it was hit. How long did the process take from starting the application to auction start?

 

I may do it with mine. Even though there’s no suitable replacement since I get better gas mileage with the supercharger and camper than a 2wd van.

 

7 days. I submitted the forms on 4/1/2025 in the evening.

is it worth paying CL $5 to post an auto for sale? been so long I did anything like that (actually posting a vehicle for sale), and it seems like CL is a shitshow of ........... shit from California.

 

I still swear by CL, but honestly haven't sold a vehicle on that platform since '21, when I told two. Of course, that wasn't in CO...

 

Never sold a vehicle so can't comment on that specifically, but generally speaking...

Facebook Marketplace seems to be more popular than Craigslist around here/these days. Marketplace uses Facebook Messenger instead of Craigslists's email/text/phone options (although I think Craigslist has the option for chat now too?). That's all for better or worse, as Marketplace is notorious for lazy and flaky buyers.

To me, $5 seems like a worthwhile gamble just to avoid Marketplace. If it doesn't sell in a week or two, you can always list it somewhere else.

This guy is very informative showing the snow conditions on the trails in the Spring. He regularly posts to show when the trails start to open.
At about 3:50 he talks about types of seasonal closures.

He also posts on Trails Offroad which tracks when trails open. There is also one of @CO MTN Steve 's favorites, Bushducks.

 

Yeh, he works with C.O.R.E, and Keep Trails Open. I’m hoping some he is successful in some of the court proceedings he is apart of, as they are looking to get a lot of trails reopened (The Gulches, North Twin Cone).

 

A coworker sold his caddy on cl in like the last month. He got $1k more than CarMax was offering.

He's also on the older side and doesn't have Facebook. There were a few scam messages, but I think it's less than FB would have gotten
