    Nice truck!

Thanks for the advice. Is your truck lifted? I have Bilstein 6112 set at max height in the front & Old man emu leafs medium load in the rear, and after market upper control arms.

You gave good advice, I’m going to double check everything tomorrow if the previous owner did any mods to make larger tires fit. I installed the suspension myself this past weekend, but didn’t notice anything in particular that was cut, but I’ll double check.

Thank you, you as well. Technically it is lifted 1/2" in the front but no, no lift. I'm pretty sure my rear leafs have sagged actually.
I do want to get 6112s front and 5160s rear but just haven't put the money towards it yet. Sounds like you have a pretty nice setup going.

I didn't realize you installed the lift, for some reason I was thinking you bought it with the lift even though you said you installed it. Still worth checking since the mudflaps are missing. As long as you are okay with a little trimming of plastic you should fit the tires just fine.

That’s the set up I currently have man. It’s a huge difference from stock I don’t feel the bumps as much especially all the potholes going to work for me lol

If you don't want extra tire poke out/stance, and 285 width tires, then the +4 offset wheels will be best alone-no additional spacers. To minimize cutting steel and trimming plastic, you go just enough offset for the tire to clear the UCA. Then realign at the LCA.

The latest Tinkerer's Adventure vid just went through all of this for a Tundra, and the same concepts apply to a Tacoma.

Just run the spacers till the new wheels show up then pop them off.

Running a 285/70r17 without a chop is doable. I did it without a +1 wheel agressive high caster alignment and dirt king uca's which doesn't do my clearance no favors.

If you want to be safe look into a 255/80r17 at the least. Personally a 265 on a lifted truck just looks rediculas. Mine lasted a week or 2 before I bumped up to a 285.
