I ended up buying those set for a few reasons..
    1. Square Body 4 Door Dually
    2. The Camaro has the raised hood which is different than other castings.
    3. One of the local scalpers was in the aisle at the same time and really wanted it but it was already in my hand.

It was a lower production, but I bought it because of the wheels, and the little kids like yellow, if I have to give something away to the nephews, this one won’t hurt. I hate the advertising on these and some hw’s. Momo and HKS get a pass

Trifecta of 1/24 scale 55 Chevrolet 210 Bel Airs. All are AMT kits (same kit) built over 20+ years. The orange Pro Streeter is the oldest from the 1990s which had to be tubbed out to get those wheels to fit. The blue one is from around 2014 and the green one was done last year.Taco World 2 25 158.jpg Taco World 2 25 159.jpg Taco World 2 25 160.jpg Taco World 2 25 161.jpg Taco World 2 25 169.jpg Taco World 2 25 163.jpg

Same cars again with more details visible. The green car has metal injector stacks that were drilled into the plastic intake. I had them sitting for years afraid to try anything with them until now. Miscalculated the hood cut thinking that they would stick out more than they do. On the green car my homemade straight axle is visible and so are my ball point pen coil springs. I just finished a Del Rio and used the springs with that one as well.
The blue car has a stainless firewall I made from stainless adhesive tape and sharpie tinted headlights. The orange car has a tunnel ram with 2 fours and a bug catcher on top.

1/24s are so much easier to build and more forgiving than 1/64s when mistakes are made. Mistakes on 1/64s look 3 times larger than they really are in comparison. The price on 1/24s drives me away from doing more. It doesn't seem that long ago I was buying 3 kits a week for $20. Now its more like $32 for one. When they hit $20 each I began hitting the brakes. I still find them at flea markets and yard sales. Ill sometimes pick up one if it is something I really have to have.

This car was pretty cool. Probably going to look small in this picture but it’s over a foot long.

I can go back and get them if you want them. I didn’t look at them to see what condition they were in but they were $10 each

A lot of matchbox in their original boxes. This is just one of the tables selling them.
