Good morning guys, have a great Saturday!

Another 540 pounds of leaves loaded and hauled to the dump yesterday. That’s 1660 pounds total so far I did rake them all up last year, this is just the fall from this season. I’m amazed at the weight I’m collecting.

No yard work today, it’s doggie park day.

Good morning guys I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. Mine was a little busy but enjoyable.

I had applied with the FCC for a new call sign when I passed my last license test and received it Saturday morning, I’m now W4MKZ. Why you ask? Because it’s fun to have a call sign with the words Whiskey and Zulu in it lol. My old call sign was a bit of a mouthful, KQ4UJN, and the letters Q and J are hard for some foreign language speakers to understand. I got some good radio time in with my new call making contacts in the Netherlands, England, Barbados and Angullia. Also had a group bs session (what we call a net) with a bunch of people from all over the US last night.

It’s time to mow weeds at the wife’s business today. Have the bestest Monday you can have.

Good morning everybody, I hope you’ve had a great week and here’s to the weekend!

I’ve said it in a couple of other threads and I’ll add it here, I’ve been extra busy babysitting the grandkids due to the other grandmother who also babysits being on vacation (again). Between the extra days and yard work in between I’ve been busy and not on here much. This will continue for the rest of the month. I’ll check in but it won’t be every day. I’ll be glad when things settle down.
