There are many things we do with our trucks that we may not all agree on. If someone want to cover their leather seats, that's their business. But, there is no need to attack anyone for asking a question.

Agreed, fair question. I have leather and use products on them to keep them nice, soft and in great shape. I personally wouldn’t cover them, plus most of the photos I see with seat covers don’t look that good anyway. Ooops, I guess I just pissed someone else off.

I have leather seats. I never had seat covers that I liked in any car or truck I've owned. So, I wouldn't cover them either.

Plus, when you cover your seats, you are just preserving them for the next owner...

Far from the most pointless question.
I find asking what oil do you use, or what's the biggest tire.....more pointless! I get ragged on
because I have Raptor lights, scroll if you don't like it, we are not held at gunpoint to read
everything!! But no, my wife's car has leather and we don't cover, my Tacoma has cloth, cheap
covers on that!! Dogs can damage leather with those nails :)

I had a cover on my passenger seat while my dog was still a pup and rode in the front with me. Now that she's in the rear, took the back seats out for a GooseGear rear seat delete, I have both my front leather seats uncovered.

Agreed. Out of line. I think we all agree just cover your leather with Katzkin covers if you're going to cover them. Otherwise, Amazon or Pep Boys covers will have to do. do.

There is no point. It's asinine.

Just as my mother did long ago; nice furniture in the living room but no one could sit on it. Kept it covered in plastic. Only time anyone was allowed to sit on it is if we had company (like for a holiday). And then went the plastic back on it.

Thins (furniture/whatever) purchased and procured are meant to be used and enjoyed. Not looked at like it's a museum piece.

I remember this old lady who lived down the street when I was a kid and all of her leather furniture was encased in plastic. It was really weird.

But good that people are putting protection on their leather seats so that the next owner can enjoy the leather.

Well with Toyota - it's gonna last years and years.
So in 10 years you can remove the covers and have 'new' seats for the next 10 years.
Ford and Dodge and Chevy, not so much.

I agree…what is the point and why does it matter?

We all make decisions that everyone will scrutinize.

    Why bring attention to it?

    Well, yeah?

If you’ve been around long enough, that’s obvious.

    It’s also not the answer.
