Looking at the Barricade bolt on bull bar with double row LED lighting for my 2022 SR5 but the description says it's not compatible with adaptive cruise control models. What does that mean exactly? Blocks the sensor so CC won't work in adaptive mode? No CC functions at all? Just covering their interests (buttoxial regions) and being overly conservative? Any reasonable options to relocate the sensor?
Going to try calling the reseller extremeterrain but sales people sometimes get it wrong so looking for any real world experience.

Most bull bars of this type do inhibit ACC function. Most would strongly urge you to reconsider the bull bar all together. There is a reason they have earned the nickname “ damage multiplier “

That’s a full ARB bumper, I’m sure the impact would’ve been much worse with a stock plastic bumper

The front end of a Taco is all plastic and is meant to crumble on impact regardless of bull Bar on not. But on low impact in parking lots, or against birds, varmits, (or stupid people looking down at their phones), it will prevent your front end from crumbling.

Unfortunately, in your case John, I believe it blocks the sensors, giving the computer false readings.....

I dont have that crap on my '17 Taco, and my bar has absolutely protected my front end on "many" occasions. Myself I would turn that shit off.

Bull bar with lights, Wheels on stock tires, window vents.
If you relocate the sensor it will need to be recalibrated, to function correctly, however that may be challenging, because the software targets ECT is set for the stock location and height.

I was expecting something like that but holding out hope there was solution. Leaning away from doing this bull bar since I like my ACC when I do use it which isn't often

They 100% cause issues, bull bars are basically dying off, hidden bar mounts are the new standard.

I dislike how ugly most bull bars look but yours looks very nice/subtle. What brand and model is it?

Are you referring to just the hidden light bars? I was also looking at those but at least a few seems to require permanent mods to plastic panels (drawing a mental blank on the name). I am not strongly opposed to doing that and just looking at options available to me. I did like the look of the bull bars but that sensor interference is probably a show stopper for me.
Some really good experience here has already saved me some regret.

Diode dynamics has a hidden bar brackets that does not require any permanent modifications. But you will find the performance lack luster. I ended up cutting the bumper so I could push the bar outside of the bumper to increase coverage.
