That Backwood bumper is my favorite of all the aftermarket bumpers.
Every time I go to Bentonville to mountain bike I always consider buying a Backwoods bumper since I'll be so close to their shop, I really want their swingout rear bumper.

Saw that my transfer case started to leak at 70k. From the case halves (not the shafts) Finally found time to change the fluid pull the bottom plate, pull the bolts below the fill bolt, cleaned with brake clean added permatex onto each bolt and snugged them up and smeared some permatex on the outside of the case half. Last ditch effort to see if I can avoid pulling the transfer case.

Installed the Cali Raised catalytic converter shield, and while doing so found that my pickup is only meant to travel forward or backward. I've been doing it wrong all this time...

That looks like the stock pre-'20 head unit, but with AA/CP. Am I high?

I wonder if your breather is plugged, like mine, pushing out your fluids. When you say the bottom plate, are you referring to undercarriage protection?

Hope you got it stopped leaking!

Well, I had it installed for 2-3 years before I noticed any issues... It's already purchased, so the cost is sunk. Buying an OEM version doesn't change that. Besides, the cost of a fuse is negligible when compared to a new unit. The time it takes to pull off the kick panel, check the fuses, and seal it back up? Fifteen minutes, tops. I'd consider OEM if I was starting over, but that bridge has sailed.

I can open the tailgate the old-fashioned way should it fail again.

First step was the remove the breathers and convert to the remote filter setup. No more stock "breathers"

    Yep undercarriage protection.

Gotcha, was it easy to reach the Tcase stock breather, and are there 2 of them? Frome the TW posts on same topic, seemed like they're buried between firewall and engine.

Nope not at all. Pulled it as far as I could then yanked from under the trans to pull the breather down to me. cut the line going to the transfer case and got a barb that fit on the other end of the pressure fitting of the ARB kit then ran the plastic line up into the engine bay and then over to the fender passenger side. Did this to both but the other line that goes to the actuator (black box. The name escapes me) hooked into the barb from the box without a fitting

Got it, I see, I'll remove the trans skid plate and I should be able to see it and get a hand on it. Appreciate it.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
Hail problem we have here in Alberta, Canada. Lots of damaged nice cars on the streets, some of them totalled, every next season is worst than previous.
Was running outside to cover my truck with moving blankets to protect.
Finally order hail protective cover from Amazon. It's not cheap ($600 CAD), but seems nicely built, thick padded and capable.
Have a fitment check today, happy with result.
Will add some loops at the key point at the bottom, for more attachment points against the wind.
Happy overall, let's see how it works in real conditions.261cfb0c-7856-40bc-bea9-b41af903a07a (1).jpg

You unhooked the radio and put it back on with a screen protector? Expensive protector or if that’s what you felt your labor is worth I’m all about that- know your worth! lol

    but for real?

What was your method of adding it to the HU?
I might be interested in something like this for my Taco, if it also supports Android.
