I have a 5vz taco and have the 1320tvs supercharger from magnuson and that power is great… only thing is there is 0 noise. Kinda bummed because i love the sound of a supercharged 5vz. Yes i have a Cold air intake. Any ideas as to why this is?

I think turbo chargers tend to have more whine.

Its because its a TVS type blower and they’re much quieter. The roots blowers are the whiners

I changed from a M62 to a TVS1320, and the reduction in noise was something I noticed immediately. Get a Haltech and 60mm pulley and get the boost up.:) Mine whines loud at 10psi.

I'm looking into replacing my M62 as well. Where did you purchase yours? I have a 10# pulley on currently and am betting the shaft size of the TVS is the same so I can swap it.

I believe I purchased it from TRE Performance, and the 58mm URD pulley.
