Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
Yeah I’ve done minor mods to almost all my vehicles during the warranty period and never once has it even been brought up by a dealer.

What difference, if any, will this exhaust dump make if crossing water? I guess the good rule of thumb is ‘no deeper than the hubs’ in which case this makes no difference. Correct?

id say it’s slightly higher than before because before it was hanging dangerously low IMO…

Well, I was parking near a small ditch (in reverse) and it almost bottomed out....so I am very glad I did it @ $79. Has a nice tone to it, as well...not even close to being loud and obnoxious...not to mention that OEM exhaust tip is horrible looking IMO...I'd guess the same guy who thought that was a good idea also designed the lower air dam and slapped it on a TRD OffRoad package truck...about as dumb as it gets.

So instead of buying a turn down tip for $100 +/-, why not cut the tailpipe right before the resonator? I want to get rid of that thing so bad but am worried about drone. I did an after market exhaust(3x's)on our 4th Gen 4 Runner and absolutely hated it. Ended up buys a stock take off on line and replaced the system. I'm old enough to NOT want loud and drone.

I think I paid like $70 for it (on sale) and there’s no drone to it whatsoever…

I've had mine for probably 10k km tbh there's not much sound diffrence even removing one of the resonators. I have the sxth element intake as well and that makes for of a difference

I think I’ll get the AME performance exhaust. It sounds good. If you get a good quality exhaust then you don’t have to worry about drones.

No thanks. I have never heard a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder with any aftermarket exhaust that sounds anywhere near good. LOL

This weekend I showed off my new truck to my father-in-law and he complimented my STOCK exhaust pipe...he said, "wow, looks good, is that exhaust aftermarket?"

Hhhhyeah no? Maybe the stock exhaust hanging way down below the rear bumper doesn't look that bad to non-car people? Anyways, I'm ordering the OEM trail pipe tonight.

Or maybe the stock exhaust looks so out of place he assumed it HAD to be aftermarket?

Pretty sure there is no gasket needed.
