Apricot jam with apple or apricot brandy. I add some aromatic spices sometimes like cloves, cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, nutmeg but lots of folks don’t like those flavors

You been runnin' the shit outta that PitBoss

Been trying to use mine more. Been using it for a grill more than anything. I found it does steaks pretty damn good. Did some burgers with it tonight and it did pretty good.

I did do a chicken a couple weeks ago. Turned out OK, but the problem was my dumbass put the chicken in the pan upside down so the breast part didn't get any smoke flavor :anonymous:

Mostly so it doesn't drip everywhere and also in case it does the fall apart thing. Don't want that mess.

Maybe we link up and trade because I’m all about what you have going on there. I love a solid taco salad and being transparent, the more veggies, the better.

Ah yes, whole chicken. Guess I should have specified. Was on there roughly 4 hours.

Have you tried spatchcocking the chicken? That’s how I smoke whole chickens, cuts the time down on the smoke and comes out delicious

If you're worried about the smoker getting juice (depending on what type it is) you can always put some foil on the drip tray. Mine (Pellet Pooper) is always covered in foil then every few smokes I change the foil and it's clean again. Now I need to get a better grate brush to use.
