I bike and golf. So, I need something that is secure and weatherproof for leaving the clubs in the bed, but also something that can be slid around or removed easily for when I want to put my bikes in the back. (I use the toyota fork mounts) I don't have a lot of patience, so it's gotta be pretty easy.

I see the hard plastic kind that slide back?? But I don't know if that would work with my bike. I also see the undercovers, painted to match that look nice but they look like a PITA to remove, but I love the security with a locking tail.

Gotta have something that meets the following criteria

    1. Weatherproof, Secure from thieves
    2. Accomodate both bikes and golf clubs, if that isn't possible, has to be easy to remove.
    3. Must look awesome. None of those stupid vinyl covers. No offense to anyone who loves those ;)

What is the perfect bed cover?

I have an Extang, and I love it.

    1. It is weatherproof as any tonneau can be (I used to have a fiberglass tonneau on my '99 Mazda and water will always find a way), but you would need to get a tailgate lock.

    2. Golf clubs would be no issue. As for bikes, you would have to remove it. It folds onto itself and clips. And at 50lbs very easy to remove. And when installed you can still use you bed rails to secure cargo, unlike other covers.

    3. I like the look.. but I guess, who am I.

At the end of the day opinions are like assholes.. everyone has one.

If you use the search function you should fine more pics, reviews and how-to installation posts than you could shake a stick at.

It's after dark here right now, so you'll get no pics from me. But there are a few of the Extang on the forum if you search.
