Digital climate controls for the rear passengers in the door handles; I think it’s just more to break…

 

In terms of price and features, yes, it's very nice. However, I think the exterior styling is ugly. It is not helped by the fact that it is finished in one of the most boring color combos ever. Black with a beige or red leather interior would be nice, but it's just so blocky and slab-sided. If I were buying a 7-series, I would want an older Alpina B7!

 

I once detailed an X5 M50i and was very surprised when I noticed that it had dual climate and dual fan speed for each individual climate zone as well, peak German engineering right there. It was a very nice and fast SUV.

Until it breaks; Germans tend to overengineer everything!

 

No doubt. It was only one year old at the time and the interior creaked like a MF. Not sure why Germans use terrible plastic. My brothers Ford Raptor has a rather nice and solid interior.

 

I bet the repairs will be expensive AF!

 

I work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Typical service life for a vehicle before it gets sold is three years and anywhere for 40K to 70K miles. My 2010 Tacoma has almost 217K miles on it and is in better condition in every possible way than most of the fleet! The interior has most certain held up better; I detailed a 2024 Suburban with like 38K miles on it, and the interior plastic was trashed!

 

That's why my dad got rid of his 3-series...

 

Would be ok to lease for a couple years while its under warranty.

 

Yeah my 3rd Gen and 2nd Gen both have solid creak free interiors. How ya liking the detailing gig?

 

I just needed a full-time making at least $15 an hour to get me through the next year while I decide what I want to do with my life; this job pays $16 per hour and I like who I work with, so it'll do. It certainly beats the shit out of washing dishes at a nursing home!

 

Start the HVAC journey and move down here, there’ll be no shortage of HVAC work with the diabolical heat we live in.

 

Man, I like the colour purple but that is the worst part of that car in my book..WTF

 

This blue Sentra has been in our fleet for a while. It is standard operating procedure for customers to leave rentals at local body shops when they pick up their vehicles. A couple weeks ago, I picked up this Sentra at CarStar, a body shop owned by Fred Beans that is like five minutes from the branch. I was turning right out of the parking lot when I heard this god awful crunching noise; I thought I’d hit the curb and really damaged the car. I got out to take a look and found that the mudflap (color matched to the car) had come completely off due to being loose, and I’d run it over; I didn’t get in trouble…

 

Suddenly, it’s a WAGON R! I have no idea how this happened…

This 2022 GMC Canyon originated in Texas, but somebody one-ways it to our neck of the woods; I detailed it on Saturday…

It has less than 40K miles, which is shocking for one of the oldest vehicles in our fleet!
