Got mine specd out...MOAB and tailgate package. Toyota really went heavy on the aftermarket additions for this model.

That got expensive fast. Does Toyota think they are Jeep. I've never really priced a Jeep Wrangler I presume Jeep has a catalogue of Jeep branded accessories available. I did check out some two door Wranglers as I thought I heard them going for under 30k, they must have said low 30s. Jeeps are cool but even at $30k and not needing a 4x4 as capable as a Wrangler, and the ones I saw all had the 2.0t. I'd probably opt for a midsize in the same price range. Even a Gladiator at a discount would be better than a 2dr Wrangler.

Why does is seem everyone that has a 4G feels like they have to justify their overpriced purchase? Just go enjoy your truck.

The MOAB and Tailgate packages are dealer installed (installation cost not included). The MOAB package includes a TRD lift kit, TRD skid plate, TRD wheels, etc. While I'm sure some dealers will sell this to you and charge you to remove your Fox shocks, install Bilsteins, replace your skid plate and wheels with identical items, and somehow put a single black chrome exhaust tip over your double TRD exhaust tips, I think most would talk you out of this.

Why does everyone who doesn't own a 4G think they are overpriced?

Why does everyone who doesn’t own a 4g have to try to shit on those who do for making a bad choice?

the number of 4g owners trolling the 3g forum talking shit is zero. Can’t say that for 2/3g owners here.

Because some of us paid less than $30,000 for a new 4x4 pick up truck?

MSRP on a 2022 SR 4x4 was $33,400 and a 2025 SR 4x4 is $36,300. Three years newer, better engine, trans, seating, safety for less than 3K. You paid less than 30K because you got a discount. I’m sure you can a discount on the ‘25 too.

    Right.

Your truck devaluates the moment you drive it off the lot.

So paying sub 30 grand for a Mexican built pick up truck for doing stuff around the house makes a whole lot more sense than Porsche money for a lifestyle vehicle, given both will quickly become worthless.

Yeah. Not my point. But keep screaming like your truck, that won't get you anywhere as well.

Funny, if you would have taken the time to read the thread you would know 3G are holding their value. You would also know 4G is getting heavily discounted bc no one is buying them.

A shit ton of Tacomas sold last month. If you are going to make point, at least try to look mature.

Anyone who paid for a 3G in the past or in the future overpaid. Including me in 2018. A 3G is worth zero to me. I paid exactly the amount I needed to get a truck that was not a mistake.
