A locked door? For what? Too keep all the valuables safe?

I kinda think criminal types are lazy to begin with and ain't gonna hoof up those stairs for anything nefarious.
Would be a cool thing to get up in there but I'd have a cardiac arrest before I made it up there. I guestimate if I took
my time it would take me 2 - 3 hours to get up there. Getting older sux.

 

what about all those people that scale buildings or scaffolding in big cities? i guess they aren't too nefarious, but still people will do crazy stuff

 

Ya, IDK? Sign at the bottom even said that visitors were welcome. Up to three at a time.

 

If its within the NP it may be closed due to staffing limitations.
