I need a transfer case from a six-cylinder manual truck And in exchange, I am willing to trade an entire four-cylinder manual four-wheel-drive drive train with 300,000 miles, I am in Pratt Kansas. You will have to bring the transfer case to me and help me pull the four-cylinder drive line. I am once again left without a truck and I am ready to mag dump my Tacoma and crush it flat.

    Reasonable.

However, if you have a rust free frame the whole rig would still bring some bucks.........

I have a donor with a rust free frame, mine has broke three times before and is covered in patches made from dump steel.

    I found a t case in Oklahoma for $300
    That a good price?

Push button or J case? Depending on your location. $2-300+ is the going rate for J case and $1-200 for push button on FB market around here

Did the Oklahoma T/C work out? I'm over near KC and have a J-shift for a 6cyl 5sp that I received in a deal for some spindles/CVs to convert my later '02 to manual hubs. I recently learned I need a T/C specifically for a 4cyl so won't be able to use it, if you are still looking

Yeah I’m still looking and in fact, I have two perfectly good 2.7 L four-cylinder five speed manual transfer cases if you want to do a flat trade

Why not swap the input on the 4cyl? Heck, I’ll sell you my spare v6 23s and you can swap it in the 4cyl case than use the 4cyl case to swap your bad case.

I don’t want to open up the transfer cases as I took apart my old six cylinder one and opened up a can of worms trying to swap the input

I'm open to a flat trade--depending on if or how much fuel and time it takes. Were you needing it delivered? I wasn't sure if your original comment was meant as a serious request or not.
But first, i'll try to post some photos to make sure I have the correct version in case I'm just wasting everyone's time.tc-input.jpg tc-front.jpg tc-left.jpg tc-rear.jpg tc-right.jpg

What can of worms? Worst thing that can really happen is those synchro keys falling out. All it takes is 147 f-bombs and a rubber band to get them back in.

That is a 4 cylinder manual case it has 24 splines and two blanks therefore 26 spline G59 transmissions are what it fits

That’s the transfer case you need for your 4 cylinder manual build.

Derrrrr. Sorry, I've not personally seen the output shaft of a 4cyl trans (mine has never been separated, this case was intended as a backup).
So I apparently the wide slots on the T/C input will contain 2 thin splines each from the transmission?

No they hold one each as you have to account for the Space beside every spline
