Looking to Purchase either Morimoto or Alpharex Led light units. Any recommendations as which one is better quality , performance and less likely to brake down. I have a 2013 TRUCK.

Ugh! Recommend reading the ultimate headlight upgrade thread in the top section before buying LED headlights. It's probably cheaper, and will work better than LED.

I say Morimoto for the look and 5 year warranty. I don’t have long term experience with them though.

After dealing with aftermarket headlights, I would tell you to stay with OEM housings and upgrade the bulbs/power handling.

aftermarket after 4 years in the elements verses new OEM.

I had Morimoto warranty out a set of headlights on my third gen after 3 years without issues due to fading lenses. They stand by their product.

Big agree here on the lenses. Aftermarket lenses do not seem to last (though I haven't had fantastic luck with OEM lenses in AZ either). IMO the best thing to do is have them PPF'd when they are new with a product like Lamin-X (DIY and lasts 2-3 years) or XPEL ($, but 10yr warranty) to keep them nice. In a few years when the PPF starts to age, you can peel it off and have a brand new headlight underneath still, then just replace the PPF. Have tried ceramic coatings, and found them to be absolutely useless on headlights for keeping them fresh. Have had much better luck with PPF.

I've had my Morimoto XB Hybrid LED Headlights & Morimoto Fog Lights for almost a year now and love them.
So much brighter then the factory headlights.

I did the Ultimate Headlight Upgrade a few years ago and have been very happy with the upgrade.

Yeah I got some of the spray on ceramic coating from Adam’s on these OEMs. I’ll probably reapply twice a year to be safe.

You can read the 276 page thread. I read most of it and am still going to buy the Morimoto XBs. I've heard the Alpha Rex headlight have issues with leaking and are directly from Alibaba.

The same shit everyone else has.
The Morimotos are the only aftermarket lights I’d ever consider purchasing.

Alpharexs are just rebadged overpriced ChineseBay junk lights

if you wait for a sale you can get the 15 or even 20% off which is comparable to OEM cost of 2 new headlights.

I would suggest finding someone to retrofit HID's.
