Are you disappointed in me for a trading in my Tacoma to get a 4Runner?

    I'm bored.
No projects today for my press.
Maintenance day, meaning poke around until I feel like going home.

The bearings let me know when they fail. :)

I'm flushing the water tank with an Allied, 2 step, system cleaner and Febo cleaning the rollers.

System flush is time consuming. It's around 45 gallons.
Circulate the water for an hour with the Step 1. Add the step 2 and circ. another hour. Drain/fill w/ R.O. water and circulate for an hour (×2).
Then drain and fill with regular fountain solution. Circ. for an hour.
Drain and fill one last time with fountain solution mix.

Gotta keep my web printing good to keep up with those digital presses.

I did the other 2 cam followers.
    You happy now? :D

A couple years ago we bought 2 used units, folder, main drive motor and control cabinet for like $20k, for spare parts. It's already paid for itself.

Spent some time in the basement today robbing parts off of it. Gripper seats, grippers, score wheel and a grease line.20250417_120418.jpg

I bought a spare platemaker for parts a couple years ago. $60k new, I got it for $1500, functional even, but it's handy for spare parts.
