I'm just sitting here stunned that Jake Moody still has a roster spot.

 

I think they prioritize mobility and athleticism in their guards because of Coach’s run game style but it does seem to put more pressure on the QB to read, throw, or run like hell, all too often with insufficient time to run anywhere.

 

It seems like they can’t keep any of their RB’s healthy either. Not sure if that’s due to the coaches run style or just bad luck.

 

I think it’s more the game punishes RB’s. It’s rare they last long and when you push a receiver to do RB stuff it has the same consequences. Combine that with always having smaller RB’s and it’s odds on they’ll miss some games. Then you have CMC who’s exuberant style is as wearing as it is successful. It all looks amazing but seems difficult to sustain.

 

In general, all of this especially last year. CMC being out shoved Mason right in and he was asked to do a lot between the WR injuries plus inexperience of the grind of a full season. Love Run CMC, would buy the jersey, but he's always hurt..not just in San Fran.

Running backs don't have that shelf life and especially one who is also out in the passing game. A guy like Adrian Petersen was a huge anomaly even though he missed one full year a while ago..if a RB is playing decently at age 30 he's usually a part timer.

 

Ready for the draft to come & go.
Sick a hearing/reading where Sanders may end up.

I’m generally not one to root against someone, but the further he slides, the giddier I get. Strikes me as an arrogant prick (certainly his father’s son) and has zero humility.

 

Howie might have done it again.

While I was hoping Starks made his way to Philly, I do like the Campbell pick. Not needed on the field immediately and can take his time healing up. Great piece to add to a defense that can still be great despite all the departures.

He’s also from the next town over from where I grew up and was an Eagles fan. That doesn’t increase his talent but it’s a cool story for him to come home.
