Trying to find one to look at before a purchase. Could someone with the XtraCab measure the fold down door in the back when it is open flat? I'd like to put in a bed for a dog. Thanks!

You can put a dog bed on it - I would be concerned about the following: the dog accessing the bed (would have to go in via drivers side probably), there's no easy access for a dog to get in. also, that door doesn't have full support across it when folded down (there's one storage unit that sits higher halfway across). So, if it's a larger dog, may damage/break the door.

Agreed. We thought about those concerns. I plan to make a support for the passenger side of the door. I would still like to know the size of that door folded down before I commit to an order with the dealer.

This new doorless configuration is so much better than those old doors! Who wanted the "access" in AccessCab? Thank you Toyota.

Might seem like a strange question but did you swap out your interior lighting? If so, which ones, it’s incredibly bright in there.

nope, that was the night I signed the paperwork - hadn't event driven it yet. I might have had the flash on the phone though, which is pretty bright.

I measured 14" in door height, 18" from front of door to first obstruction on the back when the door is open.
