I'm thinking about building 2 more, one for the jointer and one for the compound miter saw.
My big dust collector is hooked up to the planer and the drum sander and then I wouldn't have to move anything for any tool.

 

You've talked me into it, go get 2 more and post some more pics

Does that adapter lid just snap on the top of the bucket?

Those Rigid vacs last forever..ive had mine a long time. Still works

 

It's a lot slicker than how I do it, when I use my miter saw or table saw I put them near the door then blow all the chips out of the shop with the back pack blower

 

Should I leave the saw dust in it?

Yes.. this is an upgraded design that clips on the bucket like a shop vac lid clips on nice rubber gasket to keep it tight.

I like the smell of 2 stroke exhaust so that's how I sweep

 

Haha it's a pricey item so questions are ok. The lid system is $60!

This is my first one.. all the others i have are craftsman... never had a problem with any of them except the littlest one fulls up way too fast.

The last batch was all mulberry... which is the brightest yellow saw dust I've ever seen!

 

So my shop dues are good for 2 years again?
