I've been back in Arizona coming up 2yrs this summer. Rug Road trip needs to happen! I have a friend in Colorado who'd be game for this trail run. He and I are hitting up Moab the 2nd weekend of May, which will be my 2nd time going.

Clifford now has the JD Fab Lower Arm Pivot kit installed and a winch to boot. Also, had a ton of maintenance including new steering rack, and radiator. Clifford has 250k on it, but still going strong.

You've been back about the same amount of time I've lived here!

We just did Rug Road end of February. Given that, I could maybe be persuaded to do it again soon. My truck will probably be out of commission in May untill ? to put in the rear 3 link.

It’s just a 3 link, you’ll have that wrapped up in what 2, 3 hours?

You have a garage up north in 80 degree weather anytime you want it for the weekend.

Oh fuck no bud. I havent done anything other than tear it all apart. Been to busy working on other stuff to even worry about it. And with fire restrictions already up, camping season is going to suck so I have been to hard pressed to work on it.

I'm already not thrilled about the summer with the fire restrictions been in place since February and March time. Went through Forest Lakes back in January and it was weird seeing all the forest roads open and even the gate to the look out area at the top of the rim.

Worse yet is I cant think of a time where there was a fire going up North the month of December. That was until this past one.

I was thinking more November time. Gotta have a special 10yr reunion with that tree. Plus, it's getting too hot and it wouldn't be until at least late May or June before I could go anyway.

Yeah I am scared for the forest up here. And now with rim road being paved almost all the way back to the stop sign near bear canyon lake and the amount of idiots. There will be a fire up there any day now. I was just down in Payson this morning and the amount of camp trailers coming up already is going to have that area completely packed for camping. People will not be following the no fires rule.

There is weather coming in tomorrow. Open Snow is forecasting 10 inches at SB tomorrow. We are in a weird non-el-nino but also non-la-nina pattern right now that is predicted to stick around through ~September. Hopefully regular rain comes out of it this year.
