    Hey
I put a 2" lift aal in the rear, now my shock is bottoming out when it extends.
Can I put tundra shocks in my tacoma as they are a little longer from what i researched.

The shock is bottoming out or over extending? Post some photos so we can provide input. Tundra shocks are valved for a heavier vehicle(tundra weighs more than tacoma) so they will likely be very stiff, IF they even fit.

Not without modification. Just pick up a set of 5100's for the rear for around $280. Or if can spend a little more you can get 5160's or fox's cheaper 2.0

The problem is he's topping out, not bottoming out. If he wants to continue running his current setup as is, he'll need to strap the rear. The oem shocks don't have enough extended length to accommodate the added lift.

5100's are only good for extra 1" 5125's or 5160's will work. There is other brands as well, just need to research.

OP did not specify what model Taco he has or the rear shocks currently on it, to get current specs.
Stock Offroad rear shocks on 3rd Gen are the same extended length as 5100 rears.
Bilstein 5125 or 5160 are longer with similar compressed spec. I have Fox 2.0 with comparable specs for the additional length.

Sorry for late replys guys but yes my shock is extending out and banging when suspension is extended fully during off road driving. Ordered 2 shocks last night to compensate for the 2" lift.
Anyone want to buy 2 new oem shocks for a tacoma up here in Canada? Lol.
