@Kilo Charlie is this purple or pink? It’s a bit darker in person

 

When I saw it the other day in person I thought it was pink. I left it on the shelf at that price.

 

Hobby lobby prices are ridiculous, especially on their larger scale cars. I rarely buy anything from there mostly because they rarely have anything I want, even paint.

 

Catch their sales… 40% makes a difference. I don’t go there very often, but I use the sales if I do.

 

Waited for months to get this F350 Wrecker.It has been completed since these pictures were taken and I went with Periwinkle blue for the color which came out great. The Del Rio has also been completed but not in time for pictures and it is powder blue and white with a Gasser suspension and slicks. Also had a 429 with a blower that sat in it. Had to leave the hood off though. It opens backwards and was to hard to make fit with blower sticking through it.Pictures will follow during next shoot.

 

Couple IX Center Power Piston Show pictures I took a few weeks ago up in Cleveland. I write for a magazine and I am a track photographer so I get to cover a lot of events like this. I got a kick out of the 10 year old boy driving his dads front engine rail dragster. Dad was hiding behind the support column and was pushing the rail while his son drove it through the building.. The picture of the 41 Willys was interesting because the original owner had just sold it to the guy who had it there. Said it was getting to much for him. He was 80. I had to think about that for a minute. That is a blown 468 for motivation. +6
