You gotta wait at least 2 weeks for him to get into a 4th gen taco then get rid of it for a new 4Runner

    Huh?
I’m at 164k trouble free miles. Is there something I need to watch?

There's a filter housing for your secondary air injection system, That factory filter is known to be rather brittle over time and can collapse and pieces of it can get sucked into your engine at startup causing power issues among other things.

Most people replace them with aftermarket ones that hold up much better.

For the life of me, I cannot remember what those are called but @Slashaar has posted in one of these threads before about dealing with it.

One of those things that it's not a huge issue, but if it does become a problem it can be difficult to trace and diagnose since a lot of shops are not familiar with it.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Some trail damage today  ran over a sizable stick and it hopped up and jammed against the body of the vehicle. Hit right on a plug and bent up the hole the plug sits in. Carpet behind the plug and the plug is loose now...

Went through literal foot deep mud and I'm super super impressed with these tires I thought for sure they would have turned into racing slicks. Went through the car wash, got home and noticed one of my parking sensors must have pushed inside of the bumper as well lol.

Yes but they are easier to deal with once you have the tool to remove them instead of using a screwdriver.

So you're saying a flathead screwdriver plus angry words and brute force is not the way?

I too used a flathead screwdriver and harsh language. Eventually I got tired of always breaking them and figured there had to be a better way. Turns out the right tool makes life so much easier

Mudflaps are on, forgot to take pictures lol. Rotated the tires for the first time as well. I also wanted to do a quick and dirty interior detail and I'm also hungry and tired so I completely spaced the pics.
