Not true. Cod, pollock, flounder I could go on. Spotted Sea Trout is my favorite. Flesh Blue Fish is good.
Edit: I’m fearful this thread is becoming a fishing thread. I’m now stopping.

I like the look of them, but if the taillamp takes a direct hit, instead of breaking the lens would it not transfer the impact to the metal and do more costly damage??

It's the DEET - that stuff is amazing at chasing the bugs and for dissolving plastics. Clever idea to use it to remove the haze layer; I like it.

My experience is that once the lights are hazed you will have to polish more often. The plastic can only handle so much UV and then it starts to break down. I've put PPF on older lights after polishing them to shield from UV and the parts covered with PPF stay clear longer than the rest. Or I'm imagining it.
I put 3M PPF on my Taco's headlights when new and we shall see how it works in a few years. Maybe it will save the lenses, maybe it will get all crusty and by then will be adhered so well I'll have a different problem.

Someone on here posted a pic of their interior after a bug spray incident. Messed it up pretty good.

A buddy with a 2nd Gen (don’t know the year off hand but they stopped making them in 2017 / 2017 was 1st yr of 3rd Gen) did that and his look better than my 2018 which is unprotected. I think you’ve made a wise decision there.

Wasn't 2015 the last year for the 2nd gen and 2016 the 1st year for the 3rd gen Tacos? If not then TW needs to do correct a crap ton of bad info out there as well as tons of vendors...;)

I don't blame you for wanting to believe that, and cannot speak directly to all of them, but I know first hand, never fail to find them in in cod, and almost always in pollock, and Never failed to find them in any whitefish at the local Fish Fry Restaurants. Sorry.

I can confirm also, I had a can leak in my center console when it was parked for the summer (is winter vehicle), melted CD's together and cases sealed closed, melted the plastic case of the console sticking several things into the plastic.
