The ECGS Bushing will be delivered in a few days. I'd rather wait to until the vibration come back before installing it, but I don't want to worry about the potential for failure down the road.

For the TRD lift kit which uses a 1in block Toyota adds a spacer to lower the e-brake cable where it attaches to the leaf springs. It is probably worth doing.

Thanks memario1214 for answering my endless questions. I went with the clips set at 5/3 to maintain near stock height & correct a slight lean. The rear is same height as stock, the front is now about 1/2” higher.

I haven’t been offroad yet, but the highway ride is significantly improved. Over many miles of rough and uneven interstate construction the ride is less harsh than the Hitachi’s and much more controlled.

Here’s a couple pics comparing the Bilstein’s against the stock Sport Hitachi’s.IMG_0316.jpg IMG_0318.jpg

    Hey Fellas,

I have a 2019 taco with a 6” lift and am looking to the shocks to the 6112 up front and 5160’s in the rear.

I up in Harford Maryland and looking for a good shop or local dude that can do the install?

I want to ensure the I have dialed in correctly to prevent the taco lean. Also installing some Dirt King upper control arms.

I appreciate any feedback that can assist me with getting this knocked out.

    thnx,
    Eppy

With a 6in lift I would think that you would be looking to run a much longer shock than is offered for the tacoma with this combination.....

I don’t believe so. Just need to confirm where to set the clip height to ensure my specs remain the same.

Come on boys, someone has to be able to help me out with this. I’m running the Rough Country lift 6” lift!

Bilstein 6112/5100 at 2” (6/8 circlip, 3/8” top spacer, sway bar drop bracket, YotaWerx Black Hawk 2.0 tune, Borla exhaust, Freedom Off-Road UCA’s, Alphrex Luxx Series smoked taillights, Westin bull bar, 265/65r18 Cooper Rugged Trek tires, 18x9 Anthem Off-Road wheels -12 offset, 4.5 backspace.
For 6 inch lift you are going to need a lot more than coil overs and shocks. You need high articulation CVs, and aftermarket upper control arm and lower control arm that supports a 6 inch lift, you need to do a carrier bearing drop that supports a 6 inch lift, extended tie rods, and extended, swaybar links, if you have a sway bar. And I imagine with the six inch lift You’re probably gonna throw some big ass tires on there so you’re gonna have to do a re-gear.

How is the ride at 9/11? I had mine set to 9/11 but had them adjusted to 6/8 when they came in the mail. Just wasn’t comfortable having them maxed out. Did a 3/8 spacer on top to maintain my 2” of lift. Installing them today.

They ride pretty good. I also went from E load KO2s to C load AT4Ws, so overall it feels much more plush and tighter than before.
