A have a raw gas smell after driving? I do not have a check engine light on. I have replaced the gas cap, didn't help? I have looked at the filler neck. There is a hard rubber hose connecting the neck to the tank on the side. Doesn't appear to be leaking.

If the truck sits for a while there is no smell. Only after driving.

Where is the smell coming from? I seen split fuel hose in the engine bay, cracked fuel rails and injector or leaking from oring as well.

Dont smell it under the hood. Seems strongest between the bed and cab.

Get under the truck and start looking for the leak.

Just don't use a match to see with.

If is a v6, look under the driver seat and check the filter. Physically check the hard fuel lines too. If you can, look at the fuel pump gasket

You have a fuel leak. You need to carefully inspect the fuel lines from gas tank forward. Check the gas tank also. Also park it in you4 driveway and let it run for 5 minutes and then look to see if there are any drops of gasoline on the ground. If there ar3 start your search there.

Idk if that's even factory. My '99 doesn't have any connectors like that. If that's the thicker return line, it's low pressure and I'd just replace the hose and use a fuel line hose clamp

The 2 times I've had the same sort of smell, it was caused by critters chewing on the fuel return line just above the tank. First time, I raised the bed to get to the hose, the second time I lifted the whole bed off. Good luck on your fix

77209-04020 yep wasn't sure about the 2nd number. Thanks

It appears it is high pressure line?

When I found it is leaking a drop or 2 every few seconds. When I touched it, it got worse.
