Ya. I was trying to break up those depressing old timers talking about the end of the road, with some humor.

Got the trailer braked conquered. Have I told you all how much I dislike drum brakes?????? Have I!!!!!

Interesting thing popped up on my radar-I have about two weeks of time to play this summer-have to go to my brothers celebration of life, but I have some me time too. Wife asked if we were driving or flying out west... knowing I dislike flying and would always choose to drive. She said we should talk a more fuel efficient rig over the truck, unless we do an adventure. Well........ Fluckin A an adventure it is! Need some routes through from Bozeman to Missoula to Boise (maybe) to Wenatchee... Offroad dirty and rough is better. If any of you have done any of this do share. Week and a half of dirt and rocks, couple days of family and then a blast back to Wisco. Sounds FUN!

Someone pointed out that my brake/tail light (driver side) was a bit wonky on the KY trip. I have known about it for a while, but still worked and wanted to wait till it died as these are prone to doing, being the dirt cheapest chinese junk on the market, but the only ones that look like the fancy South African bed lights that I patterned the flatbed off of. Whoa, holy run on sentence there!!!! Anyway, was driving home from getting gas for the Eau Clair trip tomorrow and got a call from a student who was following me that my driver side brake light was not working. Thanks for that and I changed it out when I got home. Set and ready to rumble!

Should probably just get some diode ssc2s (with backlighting) for your tail/brake lights. :D

I wish I knew Oregon was state price controlled on booze. I went a few years ago. Wife was talking about another 3 week road trip. I need to make some notes for states with price controlled liquor to avoid markups!

    I have a new hobby.

I'll use a hockey stick. That carbon fiber is virtually indestructible. (For what a stick costs, it better be.)

Not Bourbon, but I scored a rare tequila at Corner Stop in Dousman today! I'll have to check their Bourbon selection out next time.

Back in my day, hockey sticks were made out of wood.

My kayak paddle is carbon fiber. Not cheap! But, it was on clearance at Gander Mountain when they were liquidating and shutting down. And, it matched my kayak. I pretty much had to buy it. :notsure:
