My buddy Nick and I got in some quality wrenching time today. Replaced front struts and an LCA on my sister's 2010 Mazda 3. We fought every kind of corrosion WI has thrown at that car in the last 15 years. Kroil, torches, breaker bars, breaker bars with pipe extensions, electric and air hammer drills and, eventually, the grinder came out. Had to cut out 2 bolts on the LCA.

Muscles I didn't know I had are sore. I'm really happy I found Woolwax with this group's help. I really feel like my truck will be nowhere as bad at 15 years.

    Some good wrenching there.
The kind of wrenching that'll give your aches and pains, aches and pains.

What I have discovered is that despite WI salt, you should never have a seized bolt (especially suspension) because they never get left alone more than two years due to failure or upgrade... You are not doing it right if the bolts get rusty.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
This may be hard to believe, but my '17 has never had a front alignment, somehow, it always checked good when I got new tires and drives well/no bad tire wear. When doing the front shocks 2 years ago, I found the lower a-arm bolts are seized. Should be getting around to replacing them in the next couple of weeks.

To the experts in the group, since coming back from Kentucky I find I really have to press down on the brake pedal to get the truck to start. Much more than I am used to. I haven't found any leaks yet and the reservoir level is fine. Anything in particular I should be looking at? Is there a brake pressure switch that looks for enough brake force before allowing the truck to start?
Is this a symptom of the neutral safety switch going wonky?

You have to press the brake pedal to start a Taco? The 4R isn't like that.

Not sure if anyone is looking for a fridge slide (maybe other stuff?), but Iron Man 4x4 has a sale for 25% of on the slides at least.

I have the push to start. Key fob just needs to be inside the truck. If I don't push the brake the truck goes into accessory mode.
