Sounds like the cigarette factories down here. Turned em all into apartments and ask asinine rent prices for them.

You oughta make your way to Hershey one weekend. Fun place.

I'd like to get back to that point. Let things wait until I'm home at the computer.

Not a bad drive, might have to.

One of the other loft-style apartments I looked at was in the original Heinz Ketchup factory, didn't know Heinz was from here.

Yeah I don't mind it here at all. Other than the weather, it's a great city with lots to do. I can walk to PNC Park from here for a game, I watched the fireworks show from my 6th floor window last night.

And with a winter car the weather isn't even a big deal tbh. Can be a pain on really heavy snow storm days, but they handle it so well. When I lived in PA I got used to it quickly.

Yeah the Steelers stadium was Heinz Field for the longest time. If you go to Hershey, the PA transportation museum is down the road in Strasburg. Probably the best museum of that type that I've been to. The horseshoe curve in Altoona is a great spot to checkout too.

I moved in mid-January and the snow really wasn't bad enough to impede my commute, it was more of just being freezing cold all the time that bothered me. I'll never complain about 50 degrees being cold again. I bought a Sequoia just for the winters here, didn't want to ruin my poor truck with the salt so I left it in California.

I threw the Sequoia on the lift at work back in Cali and went to town on the undercarriage with a gallon of Fluid Film and inside the frame rails and rockers with 3M cavity wax. I'm driving one of the only 20+ year old Toyota trucks around here, because the rest of them rusted in half years ago.

I mentioned in passing to my new barber about how I brought that Sequoia here from Cali and how it was rust free. Without hesitation, the owner of the shop in the next chair over handed me his card and said "Consider it sold when the time comes."
