Thanks! I think its a great combo too! Its definitely growing on me. First night in it was different. Feet were too close to the shell. I'll need to adjust the bed spot and probably get a ladder.

It was definitely an odd trip, ha. My wife kept thinking I was getting scammed. I kept thinking meh, its too specific of an item plus the location of the listing. I did feel better when he showed up that morning though, haha.

I was debating what color I should go… Ended up choosing bronze with the blue. I think it looks good.

Flatbed looks great and I love the side profile of those Geolandar A/T4s! How do you like the 235 pizza cutter profile from the front/rear? I'm running 265 but want to go thinner on my next set, without the truck looking funny. Thinking of going 255 or 235.

Installed Bilstein 6112/5100. Was gonna run them at 9/11 for 2” of lift, but decided to go 6/8 and add a 3/8” top spacer.

had a 3/2 leveling kit on it prior. Rides much better now with the Bilstein. A little stiff at first, but the more I drive, seems to be loosening up. Love how it corners, no body roll. Can’t wait to take it off-road!

my CV axles are now at a much better angle and my UCA’s have plenty of clearance. Here are some pics of the before and after.

Recently rolled over 100,000 trouble-free miles on my 2019. Gave it a routine oil change/tire rotation, and noticed it was getting close to time for new brake pads. They were down to around 2mm. Using my degree(s) from Youtube University, I tried something new and changed the pads and rotors. I opted to stick with OEM pads and rotors. Taking my time, I spent around 2 hours or so doing everything. I still need to do a brake fluid flush in the near-ish future. If anyone is curious/cares, I re-used the factory shims and made sure to apply a coating of brake grease on the back of the new pads. The pads from Toyota did not come with any grease, which I was a little surprised by.

He’s talking about salt water fish, which if the fish comes from cold water, it’s not as bad as all that. Fresh water fish like walleye no worries. Been eating walleye for 50 years. Cut off the belly flap and go to town.

Nice. So much fun to Dyi. Save tons of money and you get to know your truck very well.
One tip I might add is to put some anti-seize on the two caliper bolts. I broke one off trying to get it loose, using a breaker bar. That was a bad day.

Nice work! It can be a little daunting but rewarding trying something new mechanically. Where at are you in Upstate, SC? I'm from Easley.

Looking good brother. How much did the pads and rotors set you back? I'm sitting around 4mm myself.

You are right. Doing stuff on my own is a complete learning experience and typically saves a lot of money. That’s a good tip on the caliper bolts. They were definitely a pain trying to break free. I did put anti seize on the hub where it meets the rotor to hopefully prevent it from being near-welded on next time.

Thanks! Including a can of brake parts cleaner and a bottle of grease, I did everything for right at $200. I could definitely get aftermarket pads and rotors for less but I’d feel plenty comfortable going back with what came on the truck for a little more. I ordered them through the Toyota Parts website for my local dealer and got some good discounts too.

Hey, 200 for oem pads and rotors ain’t bad. I always get Power Stop coated rotors and ceramic pads from Rock Auto for about the same.

Gotha thanks. I'm not the most mechanically inclined, so I will probably stick with the dealer on this. Or some professionals for that matter. My luck I would screw something up and have absolutely no brakes! :goingcrazy:
