Depends on the size of the gap between the wall and the flooring…but if you don’t want to take the time to cut/miter trim they sell a flexible rubber 1/4 round. With a little effort you could make it look okay but not great.

Honestly, the product you have is probably the best choice with those angles. Get a fresh blade in a boxcutter and notch it as shown below. You should be able to manipulate it into place and make it look decent if your cuts are precise.

it only looks like crap because they did a crappy install. slice it like MGMDT said and it'll look way better

just to give you an idea that it can look good with what you have. Here is a pic from my office at work. This is still a mediocre job but looks good from far

Master bath will be the last thing redone. So, I did a temporary plumbing setup with the tankless water heater I'm going to put in my trailer. Not fancy, but I now have a hot shower and flushable toilet that doesn't require me to dump water in the tank from jugs. Once I find a sink, I already have the lines over to where it'll be.

Also got another garage door swapped out. 2 more to go.

I'll need to fix my compressor plug in the near future. Circuit breaker just tripped for some reason.

Finally a nice stretch of weather to tackle some outside jobs. A customer owns this 2 unit that was built in 1923. Much of the rear porch is original. My job was to remove the wood railings (in rough shape) and replace with composite on both top & bottom. The stairs had been replaced at some point but were crabbing off the house towards the left, I'd guess about 3.5" off perpendicular with the porch. The 2 new lower posts were not going to align at all with the 2 corresponding porch posts if they were put in the normal location. Using my laser, I placed the lower post on the right on the outside of the stringer and the left post was notched to fit flush with the stringer and rests on top of it. Added proper blocking and fasteners. In order to hide all that, I ran new stair treads long on each end and again used my laser to trim the ends perpendicular with the big porch posts. The overhang on each end is not equal, but they run true off the porch. Other than replacing the entire set of stairs, it's the only viable solution I could think of. Also replaced 3 of the lower porch boards with cedar (it's to be painted soon by someone else). One more day next week to install the 3 remaining rail sections. Oh, I added the white vertical pieces along the house for 2 reasons. One, the siding is asbestos and two, it gives a flat surface to mount the railing. It looks nice too, sort of frames in those end sections. Used 1x5 Lifespan. It bowed in a little towards the bottom, but it's not too noticeable from ground level.

Many fan motors have play like that, if it runs fine clean it up and leave it alone.

If it has lube ports for the bushings use 20 grade non-detergent engine oil.

It only started making that noise, and play, within past year. It doesn't seem right, to me.

I'll be looking into it today I'll see if I got a lube port to see if that helps.

This looks to be a lube port, there should be another on the other end. Look behind there and see if there is a tube/passage down to the bushing housing. Usually the bushing is made of a sintered bronze "Oilite" material.

There may be a spring washer in there that is supposed to control end play, sometimes you can match up a replacement at a well stocked Ace or True Value store.

WOW. $500.00. Mine is worth every bit of that, I love this fan. You just gave me the idea to 'permanently' mount it somewhere near the ceiling...hmm... I like using it to blow on me while in the garage, to keep the flying daggers from landing on my skin and laying waste puncture by itchy-puncture.
