    I hope everyone a good Easter Day. Wife , and I did a road trip up the coast, beautiful day. Went by my old stomping grounds , well I used to work in the town for 8 years. Mouth of the Kalamazoo River, the house on the right was the one of the kids house. All the property, 440 acres has been sold off and developed my old apartment, 3 units, fully furnished , $300 a month

    IMG_1206.jpg This is what I worked on and helped build 1988 , 95’6” sport fishing boat . I worked in the pilot house, got to know the Captains really well, 6 month build. Picture of it is on its first sea trial, in the river. They would take them up river and then turn around in Kalamazoo Lake, before heading out to the big lake. I went on this trip and the delivery to Chicago. I’m up on the fly bridge, but you can’t see me. One of the coolest things I’ve ever done, helped build 16 of these things.

    Heading in the right direction, north. A lot of the big rivers in Michigan got beat up pretty bad from logging and mills. A lot of them are coming back for fishing, and vacation homes
