Thankful to be able to make my own coffee and shit in my own shitter this morning. Some areas have been restored, but it will be well into Wednesday for most of it.

This can't be any fun for my neighbors, most of whom have no generator.
The little old lady next door took off in her Subaru for a friend's house yesterday morning
It was the next house over from hers where the big tulip poplar came down and took out the power.
No one's house up here was seriously damaged, though there are more trees down here and there.

We got crews all the way from Jersey helping to restore power

 

Yea I've seen some from the Allentown area and a whole group from the Long Island, NY area. That group looks to be the ones that respond to "disasters" like this. I know I quoted disasters, but honestly nobody got injured or killed just property damage so honestly that is the best case. Going to try to go to the Walmart by you today, might be a shitshow though. Local Food Lion lost all their cold stuff so no sense in going there.
