Fuck Facebook market place. I drove over to the west side and texted him I was close and he said he already sold it and forgot to text me because he kept getting ghosted.

Oh shit my dude! Glad youre ok. That sucks it was such a good truck. Dont let insurance take it from you yet. Depending on them they will pay or wont pay for the aftermarket parts. Take the chance to strip it and replace the stuff with oem or equivalent. I have front shocks we can throw on it.

 

Yeah we'll see how it goes, I've been pretty adiment about trying to get as much off as I can. I'm pretty sure the front drivers side upper control arm and shock are smoked.

All this is being complicated by having to leave Thursday for my little sister's wedding.

 

Yeah the photo looks like that is pretty bad on the front corner. Luckily it just has to be able to roll onto the flat bed. When we stripped mine I barely had bolts finger tight on leafs and like 2 lug nuts on a tire. Sucks you have to leave to go to the wedding but the truck will still be here when you get back.

Sorry to see this, but the truck did it's job and happy you were able to walk away to tell the story.

 

Just let us know. I will come on down. The only thing better than a mod day is a strip the truck day. Way more drinks and less caring about whether we scratched something or performed the correct torque specs. Plus we get real world practicing on how fast we could chop a truck for parts if we ever needed to know.
