$3k budget daily driver; what you buying?

He had a pretty bad concussion and his chest broke the steering wheel in half. But he was able to walk away from the accident.
It's a shame it had 45k orginal miles

It's been a good daily, sold my old 94 Corolla that I was using as a daily beater to a buddy for $500 and he's still driving that thing around, at 400k+ mi and it won't give up. I've had other BMWs and decided if I do it again it would be E46 or older if buying used because they're relatively reliable and not as electronically complex or I'd lease/buy new so I'd have a warranty. Always wanted an E46 so I went old used and it's been great.

 

Like ignoring transmission noises until the transmission implodes? Don’t ask me how I know

Just sold my wife’s daily a 2006 Honda Pilot. Paid $2400 for it with 277k miles. Sold it for $2900 with 298k miles on it.
