    Per the poll, I saw something large cross the road and go into the woods when I was driving home last week after volleyball. It didn't move like a deer and it was definitely bigger than a fox.

    You can usually tell big cats by the tail - looks very distinctive
    And cats move differently, their gait is smoother [for lack of a better description]

    Had trouble telling the shape since it was pretty dark, but I could see the eye reflection for a bit and it looked like it was gliding.
