so work on the patio is going to come to a stop sooorta! the reason its going to be on hold for a bit is because i cant get the rock we want! we found the color and style we want for the patio.
    upload_2025-4-2_11-8-19.jpg
which is this color here which the place has the large version of this rock but they will be getting 1-2in rock in at late april so im going to have to wait to finish the patio section until then! so that kinda suucks! but that allows me (as the gf stated lol) to look at another project.
    upload_2025-4-2_11-11-7.jpg
atm the patio campfire area looks like this. i have leveled the area and now im working on the grilling pad. i still need to level the left side (ran out of the sand) and get 3 more blocks to finish that section out.

this project is something the gf wants which is a green house to put some veggies and also some herbs and such in it. we have looked into buying one but each one we have seen is like 2-4k which is wild! so i have been looking around at designs and sizes and such (similar to what ive been doing with the patio section.
so atm i got a few pics and ideas that i plan to do.
    100_2213_155c0df6edcda5b0b2e026edf879b1ae92002dd8.jpg
this is the rough frame design i like the only thing i dont like is it sits right on the dirt.. id prefer to have it sit on a bed of gravel so when you water the plants it just drains down into the rock. plus make it look a bit nicer ya know? like this[IMG]
i also like the idea of having the wood at the bottom. the reason to have the wood at the bottom is so that the dogs wont try and tear through the clear plastics stuffs? idk what that stuff is called!

we plan to put it in the back section where that dirt is at since we get sun there all the time
    upload_2025-4-2_11-16-18.jpg
not the best pic but its all i got atm!

so yaaa thats prob gonna be the new plan for awhile since im waiting on the rock! once the rock is put into the area then i can work on the pergola over the patio/fire pit area.

more parts i plan to add this isnt for the raptor swap this is just for towing and hauling
    upload_2025-4-4_9-12-21.png
something to help the truck out as well like airbags but something i dont have to adjust. yes you do loose a little bit of down travel but im not to worried about that. since if i wanna go offroad and play about in the truck i can just unbolt this.

I'm normally fine but for some reason I just wasn't?

The 2.0s are just to run until I get all the raptor 2.5s rebuilt and get all the other parts for the swap.

Also I got a get a new wiring harness for my back up camera because it decided it doesn't wanna work now I guess :annoyed:

Sooo got the fox 2.0s in the rear with the raptor 2.5 blocks. The front 2.0s I have adjusted to 2.5 so I'll test them next weekend to see if it will be about level or be a bit below.

Also I'd do it today but turns out discount tire gave me a 10 spline lug nuts for my wheels and never gave me the key... Sooo yaaa gotta get that tomorrow.

But now I can drive the truck once the 2.0s are on and slowly grab all my parts for the raptor swap

with the sale of some of the civic parts we have been looking at trailers to haul dirtbikes with. at first was looking at enclosed trailers but after a bit of looking at some and prices we have decided to just buy a toy hauler instead. 2 birds with 1 stone kind of thing! the issue is weight... my truck can tow 8500lbs and ive got plenty of power to do anything i want buuut i would prefer the trailer to be a certain weight only! not a big fan of massive crazy heavy trailers! id prefer to be in 4-5k range on dry and gvwr isnt the biggest deal to me since i dont plan to hit the max of 7500-8500. ive been looking and there sadly isnt many in this weight and size range of 25ft or less. atm ive looked at two forest river toy haulers but sadly the reviews are pretty poor on them! even thou i like the layout a lot the reviews of problems and issues kinda scares me away from them!

    https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/grey-wolf/18RR/10894

    https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/wolf-pup/18RJBW/10917

i did find another trailer brand but this brand it seems was released in 2025 so not much info on them... but i do like the size and the type of trailer it is but idk still doing research on stuff...

    https://wayfinderrv.com/model/boulderback

id like to state i have looked at older trailers as well but man the weight on those are pretty high up there! but very nicely built trailers just not a fan of the price of 10k on a 04 trailer!

You should just buy a cargo trailer and outfit the interior however you want. It’s way cheaper and significantly better build quality

I've looked into that but it isn't cheaper at all.. nice enclosed trailers range in the 8k range and then you have to convert them which can cost thousands to do.. I have looked into it it's just a lot of work.

I do agree with the better build quality thou.

if you just go off dollars sure. but you are comparing something built decent vs something built out of cardboard.

    my trailer is 1900 lbs.

you can get them built to spec from the factory setup as a toy hauler with as much or as little as you want. All the big trailer companies have offerings to do this.

    here's one example

I mean ya that's fair I'd have to look into the larger companies and see what it goes for. I've priced it out for doing it my self and even then it's 8500 for the 7x14 and close to 5-7k more for the conversion. Which is cheaper then a camper but it's something I'd have to do which is a lot of work. But I'll look into a few of the larger companies and see on pricing.

Out of the campers I've looked at the one I like the most is the wayfinder but they are only in Nebraska so I can't just swing by and look at it!

That weight for sure is nice what brand is yours?

I went to a dealer in Wisconsin to get it.

it depends on how fancy you want to get. theres a ton of examples out there that people put together pretty quickly. there's some pretty cool conversions people have done. you can make a bed setup pretty quick with some etrack and mounts.

I'll do something like that eventually but for now I can just toss in a cot. I've got plenty of solutions for water already. bought a composting toilet. have an instant hot water heater and goal zero.

I use it for a lot of different stuff, so the modularity is nice.
