    I see. Thanks for the pictures. My sense is that this design is common in Toyotas but not sure. Perhaps this is a not-tight-enough tolerances issue.

    Yeah - was never an issue for me on my 3rd gen. I think it’s more of a first run of vehicles issue. These issues crop up and they fix it over time. A 2022 third gen is going to have all these kinks worked out. All that said, I’ve now fixed 2 rattles (rear driver door and this issue) with some tape and my truck is now perfectly silent. Not bad for a new model.
