That and it has to be brewed coffee. That pod shit is terrible.

With the water in my house being terrible I've switched to the gallons of drinking water and have noticed a (good) difference as well.

I meant using the water for coffee. I mean, coffee is a liquid sooo :notsure:

I pee way entirely too much as it is, I can only imagine drinking a gallon a day

:fistbump: My wife always puts sweetener and some sort of flavoring in her coffee. My brain is wired rather strangely. I am not a fan of most "sweet" things, they are often a bit too much for my tastebuds. I grew up drinking both iced tea, and hot tea, so either of them are acceptable to my brain cell (just don't sweeten either one). But coffee is only acceptable in the piping hot form. My brain simply does not acknowledge the concept of cold / iced coffee. Just ain't happenin'. :anonymous:

Sweetener plus flavoring? But that's just sweetener on top of sweetener

I use flavored creamers and they're plenty sweet enough that I'm never adding extras to it. If anything I kinda skimp on it because I know I'm having multiple coffees and it would just be hidden calories.

But if I go-to one of those coffee shacks then all this goes out the window for whatever fancy latte or mocha is on special because why not :p

I have to confess that occasionally, usually during the winter, I will get a flavored latte. Or other coffee based drink. My favorite is Peppermint Mocha, because I absolutely love peppermint. But always a hot drink, never iced. My wife's favorite drink year round is a Cafe Americano with some sort of flavor added, lately it has been pistachio sauce. She'll get the same drink year round, but hot in winter, and iced in summer. It is usually a lot cheaper than the same drink as a latte. I tried a sip once just to see how different the taste was, and it was reasonably close. But when we get a drink outside the house, I almost always get black iced tea. Except for the occasional peppermint mocha in winter :D

We have one Sbux in our town, and one in the next town up, where my in-laws live, and they also have a Dunkin'. Neither my wife or I are particularly thrilled with their drinks, though. I do not believe there are any other drive through coffee places, not even little mom & pop shops. There are a couple, but no drive through capability.

Montana is surprisingly big on local coffee/tea chains. There's a Starbucks out at the lake for lost tourists but they would be missing out because even in our tiny little town is 4 drive thru coffee shacks and 3 walk in cafes... How, I'll have no freaking idea but they are all unique. One has the most incredible like marzipan filled donuts and I stay far away from them because they're too tempting.

Have no fear if you're ever driving through Montana you're almost guaranteed to find your coffee fix no matter how little the town.

Montana was one of the 4 States at the top of my list to move to from CA, but my father-in-law has COPD, so no mountain / high altitude areas. And, back in the early 80's, her family lived in Minnesota for several years, and "they had their fill of icy, frozen winters"
