Has anyone else bought their truck from Rainbow toyota in North Battleford Sask? And If so was it a good experience or horrible? Customer Service when gettin work done? Very pissed at them right now and would like to know if they treat everyone with an "I dont give a shit about you" attitude.

well after going there for a third time for the same problem its still broken!!! Sure its all warranty work, but i need my truck to stay running. I dont know if I should trade it for something i can get fixed locally, where you get a loaner while yours is down. It wouldnt be a huge deal if a guy got a sweet price on the truck but when you pay 1/2 ton price for 1/4 ton truck I get pissed when I cant get it fixed! I told them to keep it for a few days and just give me a loaner, nothing new or fancy, just to keep me working. Flat out denied, drive back in they spend 1 hr with it replace maf sensor with another old one and send me on my way. The truck still surges when cruising and drops rpm when I need it. Dammit should I stick with it??? The local ford guy sure does want me to trade it in on 2011 f150 lariat for less than what i payed for the taco....I just dont know what to do.

I would get the name of the regional Toyota sales rep, who will intervene when it comes to warrantee issues. Explain your story to him/her, and see what happens.

I bought my truck at Rainbow. It was a neither great nor poor experience. I have never gone back for service. I've been to Ens a few times for service and it was a horrible experience every time. I almost bought my truck at Ens but my salesperson ignored me when i went in to put a deposit down the day after i test drove a truck.

I guess i should have added that my girlfriend bought a 2010 corolla s from Ens and everything went really well. Our Salesman Scott was amazing and actually saved us another 1000 bucks the day we went to pick it up. Neither of us get a very good vibe from the service side though. Maybe it's just us though?

ya i kind of got the same vibe. last week i took my truck in because the sub quit working and they told me that it was an aftermarket part and after about 10 minutes of me telling them that all trd access cabs from 09 and up have them they finally looked and they had one in stock. it was all under warranty so there was no charge but it just suprised me that they were that stupid.

My mother in-law has a Highlander that she was servicing there and when they told her to pull it into the bay to look at it some dumb ass closed the overhead on her and trashed her roof rack. They actually told her it was her fault and tried to make her pay for it. Great service, they also had a lexus from there at the time. Have not taken my taco in there yet. Anyone know of a good place to service my truck? I have always gone to the dealerships.

They fixed the roof rack after my father in-law went in to complain. He was also there because his lease was up for his Lexus. They ordered it for her and then sent it back because it sat there for two months without anyone knowing who it was for. Got lost with no paper trail I guess. They then ordered it again and installed it for free as well as paid for necessary repairs.

well ens had it for two days. they looked for the problem but reset the puter first so they couldnt pinpoint. almost 500km later and its back. filed a complaint with toyota, they seem to think its a serious problem so well see what happens. I told them that i will never go back to rainbow due to lack of service and care.

what do you guys think? what would cause a sudden rpm drop then no throttle response for a good 5 to 30 seconds and the odd stall out? Then going down the road at 100 km/hr it will bounce around 2000 and 2500 rpm. And it doesnt happen all the time, just when you least expect it.

I will not put my kids in it or my wife, and have been taking out of the way routes to avoid other vehicles.

    any thoughts would be great

so well the "techs" at toyota figure its the fuel pump now, so I gotta take it back in. If it is the pump why would it run fine after the puter is reset then act up after a few hundred km?

well ill be damned it was the pump. it was at ens lexus for about two weeks ( had to drive a 2000 dodge ) but they fixed it all warranty, and they replaced the rear shocks no questions asked. Six months I fought with rainbow to get it fixed !! I will drive to stoon for all repairs now and will never go back to rainbow.
