Southern California these days, but I grew up in Mammoth and lived in Salt Lake City for a stretch too. I still get out about 20-30 days a year though. I'd go nuts without skiing.

Very nice, I'm in OC at the moment but we do quite a few trips to Mammoth. Just waiting for them to get a little more snow, sounds like we may visit Thanksgiving weekend. I'd say the same skiing is certainly "my thing" though mountain biking has become as of late as well.

My brother still lives in Mammoth. Says it has been warm and that the skiing is so-so, but I'll take whatever they got to get my ski legs back for the season. Hopefully we get some more coverage soon.

We ended up taking our dog to the vet instead of mammoth ‍♂️ Gonna try again next weekend. Still doing snow dances but it looks like we’re not getting any precip till at least the second week of dec.

Headed out to Sun Valley, ID tomorrow morning for the first trip of the season. Excited for some new scenery outside of CO/UT/Tahoe. Anyone been and willing to pass along some recommendations? Doesn’t look like they have a park but with the new bowls opening up we should be in for a great time

We picked up our season tix this weekend. Yeah I know I'm late but the first good storms happened when we were out of town.

Anybody X/C or skate-ski in a metro area? How'd it go? Apparently Denver's getting smothered in powder this weekend and while nothing's gonna be groomed, I find myself intrigued...

Got some new skis this season and just got them mounted. These are the new K2 Reckoner 102s with 22 Designs Vice bindings. Can't wait to get these on the snow!
